Levels of Goal
In Sahaj Marg we have three levels of aspiration, three distinct goals.The
lowest is liberation. My Master used to say, liberation is freedom from
the physical rebirth, nothing more. The soul has to evolve hereafter in different
non-corporal forms, may be angels, may be this, that and the other, we need
not have to elaborate on that. The next stage , a much higher stage,is
realisation , when we realise the unity of all existence. I am no longer
present as something which I have to seek as something separate from myself.
The third stage , which yogic science often illustrates by an example,
is like the river flowing into the sea and losing its personal identity. This
is what we call the Layavastha , the state of merger in the Master,
in the Ultimate, when we lose our individual identity forever. |
