By Love and Sacrifice
It is a question of recognising the goal, recognising the person, who is for us the embodiment of all the principles that, that Goal means to us, learning to love that so much, that we want to become that and in a grand final act, made possible by that utmost intolerable love for the beloved, just going unto Him and saying, "Well this is it." So, I think that is how this progress is possible. And how to make it in the quickest possible way? Well, if you can fall into love, as they say, I prefer to say "Rise into love", because the words "fall into love", have an obnoxious meaning to me. There is a fall associated with that love. Now we don't want to "fall" in love, we want to "rise" in our love - rise to what? To the highest possible extent. So if you can rise in love, for the Master, at the moment you meet Him, and that moment itself becomes the moment of your self-effacement, self-extinction, the self ceasing to exist in the moment that love is born in your heart, you are transformed in that instant itself. So, how to do it in the quickest possible moment? Love Him when you see Him and surrender yourself the same moment; you cease to exist and your Goal is achieved.
