History and current organisation

As of 2009, Sahaj Marg Spirituality Foundation (SMSF) is registered in three countries:

SMSF India - Founded in 2003 as a non-profit charitable trust.
Managing trustee - Shri Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari.

SMSF India currently owns and operates two CRESTs - one in Bangalore and the other in Kharagpur ,and two retreat centers - one in Malampuzha and the other in Pune.

SMSF India donated relief funds after the Gujarat earthquake and the tsunami in 2006.

SMSF USA – Founded in 1999 as a 501-c3 non-profit charitable organization.
Founder and President - Shri Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari.

SMSF USA operates the Spurs Ranch Retreat Centre in Austin, Texas.

SMSF USA donated relief funds after Hurricane Katrina.

SMSF Switzerland – Founded in 1994 as a non-profit organization.
Founder and President - Shri Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari.
Executive Committee (11 members).

Europe is the main field of action of SMSF Switzerland. SMSF Switzerland owns and operates the Berlin ashram. Another active branch of the Swiss Foundation is the European Sahaj Marg Research and Training Institue (SMRTI).
