YOUTH PROGRAMME

This is to bring to your attention the “YOUTH PROGRAMME” that is to be launched from 1st April 2006 at Babuji Memorial Ashram, Manapakkam, Chennai – 600 116, India.
 
This full time residential programme will run from 1st April 2006 and is aimed at training the YOUTH of Sahaj Marg. While the programme is designed to end in ONE year, abhyasis who are able to allocate 1 month to 3 months are welcome to apply. The duration will be extended beyond 3 months to 6 months to a maximum of 12 months.
 
Salient features of this programme:
 

  1. Intense training on all facets of Sahaj Marg during their stay.
  2. In-house stay at the ashram, at no cost to the abhyasis, during the programme period. Food and Bachelor’s Dormitory Accommodation will be provided at Ashram.

The following alone are eligible to apply for this programme:
 
  1. Abhyasis from India between the age group of 20 to 35.
  2. Must have been practicing Sahaj Marg System of Meditation for at least 2 years at the time of applying.
  3. Must have attended at least one or two Bhandaras / Celebrations.
  4. Must be a Male Candidate.
  5. Must attach a certificate of Conduct from the respective Zone-in-Charge or Centre-in-Charge or Preceptor-in-Charge.
  6. Must not expect any other support, financial or otherwise (other than Food & Accommodation which will be provided at Ashram) during the programme tenure. They must carry enough clothing for their stay and some cash to cover their personal expenses.
  7. Must be highly disciplined and motivated to participate in the programme.

We intend restricting the first size batch to 50 (Fifty only) and we will go on a first cum first served basis, provided the candidates fulfil the above criteria.
 
Abhyasi brothers who are willing to apply for this programme must route their applications (with complete resume in the application format) through their respective ZIC / CIC / Preceptor-in-Charge on or before 10th March ‘2006. Short listed candidates will be intimated by email / post on or before 20th March ‘2006 after proper screening. They must report at Manapakkam Ashram by 28th of March ‘2006 and the programme will commence on 1st April ‘2006.

REV. MASTER’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS IN LATVIA - UPDATE

Further to our announcement of the Rev. Master's 79th Birthday celebrations in Riga ( Latvia ), we would like to inform all that, as per Rev. Master's guidance, this seminar will be mainly attended by the abhyasis from  the CIS and the Baltic countries. However, abhyasis form other countries willing to attend the seminar may  also attend the function. The capacity for the seminar is limited to 300 abhyasis.
