Dear Sister / Brother:

ON TOUR WITH REV. MASTER
Bangalore, Karnataka, India
12-Mar-2006 to 18-Mar-2006
Report by brother Bhupendra Chuphal, India

Master continued His stay in Bangalore and stayed in the Zonal Ashram, which is located at the outskirts of the city in the lush green environs. Master's cottage is surrounded by Mango trees and is away from the noise of the city. He sat out few times in the mornings in solitude. He also  conducted morning satsangh on 12th March. During one of the informal discussions deliberating on the obstacle we face in our spiritual progress, Master said, " I have one Master and you have many". He explained that we get pulled away by many drivers, like our jobs, family, society etc, which He metaphorically referred to as Masters.

Centre for Research, Education, Sadhana and Training (CREST) being such an important project, Master visited the CREST center again on 14th March. Master earlier had said that He has enormous hopes from the CREST center and took the opportunity to explain the entire concept of this institution to all those assembled with Him.  During this visit, Master decided the spot where Babuji's sculpture would be placed. The sculpture is done by an artist who is also an abhyasi brother from Jaipur who had just arrived in Bangalore to meet Master. For the CREST library, Master has so far visited 4 different book shops in Bangalore and has handpicked about 500 books. After long hours in these book stalls, Master insists on cataloging the books himself. On being asked how would one read so many books in one lifetime, Master replied, "you should try to inculcate the book reading habit sincerely". He also said that the best age to start serious book reading is 8 years and we should at least read one book a month.

In another conversation, Master emphasized that we should read, listen and speak, in that specific sequence. He elaborated that we should read for knowledge, listen to ascertain the situation, and speak only based on our knowledge and according to the situation. He added that, frequently, we speak without the having done the first two steps.

After two weeks of stay at Bangalore, Master left for Chennai on 18th March at 3:50 PM. Master is returning to Chennai after spending about 50 days on tour.
