"Love must keep flowing."

Friday, 20 March 2015, Pune and Panshet

As usual, respected Kamlesh Bhai was ready by early morning and started working. In between he read out Babuji’s diary, which said that even the highest condition granted to a disciple was like a drop in the ocean.

He reached the retreat centre at Panshet by 10.00 a.m. On the way, he mentioned that the purpose of satsang is to tune in and be connected to the Divine Master. Does this holy process depend on any place or time? Sahaj Marg is simple; we should not make it rigid by imposing artificial rules.

He gave several sittings, and then prepared and permitted a group of fifteen new preceptors. At 5.00 p.m. he conducted satsang. He then conducted a session for all the new preceptors and spoke about the preceptors’ work.

He said, “An intense abhyasi means you are practising intensely, in such a way that you have never practised before in that fashion. It has nothing to do with time or space; it has everything to do with your inner fervour, inner restlessness and inner love for the Master.”

After the session he took a walk around the retreat centre and then sat on the banks of the Panshet dam. The atmosphere was very peaceful.

Many abhyasis arrived early in the morning. The day started with Kamlesh bhai conducting satsang at 7.30 a.m.

He conducted satsang again at 11.00 a.m. and gave a talk. The main message was that love must keep flowing from our hearts, irrespective of the situations in life. It should be like a river and not like stagnant water. He gave many technical insights into the spiritual journey.

He met new abhyasis and shared his experience of how he ventured into the spiritual practice. He said that a long time ago, a sannyasi had advised him that, “You will not find God through sannyas; don’t take sannyas.”

The session was more like two aspirants sharing their views and difficulties of spiritual life. He said, “The heart will always tell you the truth and guide correctly. Greed and ego intervene and misguide. To follow the heart, one needs courage. Always follow your heart.”

“Openness of the heart creates love. When love is flowing through you, you will remain pure.”

“Without peace we cannot be creative.”

After the satsang at 5.00 p.m., Kamlesh bhai addressed the youth, as well as everybody else in the hall, as the youth had requested a special session. He said, “Our beloved Master used to ask what is so different about youth. Why do we need special meetings? The practice is the same for all.”

He advised one and all to use the time well and to establish automatism in their practice. His talk grew into human evolution. He explained that, “The soul is eternal and immutable. Spiritual evolution is evolution of the subtle bodies – chit (consciousness), manas (mind), buddhi (intellect) and ahamkar (ego).” By the removal of samskaras, consciousness expands and evolves into divine consciousness. The mind becomes purer and steadier, and thinking evolves into feelings. Intellect evolves into wisdom and the ego gets refined. All this takes us towards the state of perfection.

He said, “Transmission beautifies our inner self.”

Sunday, 22 March 2015, Panshet to Chennai

In the early morning, he prepared and permitted five new preceptors and then conducted satsang around 8.00 a.m. Later, he sat silently in the cottage and meditated.

In silence everything was said and done. The Masters live and work for the spiritual evolution of one and all. We help them by doing what we should be doing, without placing any demands.

He left for Chennai by noon.
