MEDITATE FOR PEACE on International Day of Peace, 21st Sept 2020

Create Peace, a meditation at 9 p.m. local time

Inner peace creates outer peace

On International Day of Peace, 21st September, Heartfulness will present an online event to unite humanity in a meditation for lasting peace.

Our International Day of Yoga event was viewed by over 22 million people, and we are hoping to reach over 40 million people worldwide during this event. The program highlights are as follows:

Celebrate Peace, 8 p.m.: In this program, Daaji will be joined by notable peace ambassadors and musicians, including Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Sister Shivani, Amandine Roche, and several others. It will be broadcast in over 100 countries and translated into over 24 languages via online streaming platforms as well as TV partners like ZEE News, TV Asia worldwide.

Create Peace, 9 p.m.: There will be a 30-minute program of Heartfulness Relaxation and Meditation to activate peace around the world.

Confirmed partners include United Way, United Nations Information Center, Global Citizens India, and the Spirit of Humanity Forum.

Leading up to the event, the Heartfulness network is also supporting “Communities of Peace” around the world. From the 1st of September, a social media campaign will begin to create hundreds of communities of peace and engage millions of people to restore peace through meditation.

The purpose of this message is to let you know about this event and to ask for your help and engagement in the following ways:

  1. Mark your calendar from 8.00 p.m. to 9.30 pm on 21st September 2020
  2. Invite all the people you wish to join you in these remarkable events
  3. Post the events on your social media pages
  4. Host a community of peace, including your family, friends, colleagues and neighbors, starting 5th September 2020. You could also consider organizing a webinar, and using the support of our online masterclasses, the HeartsApp, YouTube videos, the Heartfulness Magazine, and other resources.

A large, international team of volunteers is already working to create content and to implement the program but we would welcome and value your contribution too. So, please look out for more information in future bulletins, as well as brochures and flyers on the Heartfulness website and social media.
