On 3rd January, there will be a live event at Kanha Shanti Vanam to celebrate the benefits of Yoga and a healthy lifestyle for 2022.

Yoga enthusiasts from all over the world are coming together to perform 750 million (75 Crores) Surya Namaskars on the occasion of the 75th year of India’s Independence.

Dates of the challenge: 1st January until 20th February 2022.

This celebration of Yoga will be inaugurated in the presence of:

Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, the Honourable Minister of Ayush and Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Government of India,

Dr. V. Srinivas Goud, Minister for Prohibition and Excise, Sports, Youth Services, Tourism and Culture, and Archaeology, Government of Telangana,

Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, the Honourable Governor of Haryana, Pujya Yogrishri Swami Ramdevji Maharaj, President, Patanjali Foundation, and

Pujya Shri Daaji, the Heartfulness Guide.

Activities will include:

Official launch of the 750 million (75 Crore) Surya Namaskar challenge,

Inauguration of the Heartfulness International Yoga Academy, and

Release of the book The Authentic Yoga by P.Y. Deshpande.

About the Heartfulness Yoga Academy:

Heartfulness welcomes all Yoga institutes and wellness partners to join us to share their techniques, training, and treatments at our state-of-the-art facilities in Kanha Shanti Vanam.

The 65,500 sq ft space is destined to host international Yoga programs and contests that are accessible to people from all walks of life and levels of society.
