Satkhol receives small batches, allowing the field of silence to remain undisturbed. The rhythm is simple and time-tested.
Batch rhythm
Weekday batches: Tuesday -> Sunday (six days held in silence and simplicity).
Weekend (Pearl) batches: Thursday -> Sunday. Accommodation at The Pearl only (Ashram dorms are not available for these).
Stay during batches
Ashram dormitory (weekday batches): simple, separate for brothers/sisters; allotment on arrival.
The Pearl in Satkhol Himalayas: available as an alternative during weekday batches and required for weekend batches. A batch rate is extended to approved participants. Booking details are shared in your Permission Letter; please book only after approval.
How to Apply
Complete the online Satkhol application form (include your preceptor details).
Applications are reviewed in order and verified, including preceptor confirmation.
If approved, you will receive a Permission Letter with your batch number and dates.
Reply CONFIRM by the date indicated to hold your place; unconfirmed places may be released.
Who may apply
A minimum of 6 months of abhyas and a valid SRCM ID card.
Health readiness (hills): fit for hill travel and simple arrangements; the Ashram has no on-site medical facility; carry personal medicines for the full stay.
Health readiness (inner): steady, introspective orientation suited to a silent environment. If under active medical/psychological care or recovering recently, please travel when stable on your doctor’s advice (a simple fit-to-travel note is sufficient; no personal details are needed).
Accessibility: no wheelchair access.
